Our chosen idea! woooooo hoooooooo - First Crit 12/10/12

After deciding to merge two of our character ideas together the ideas just kept flowing for a story and this one came out and started developing straight away. We all thought of different parts of ideas to add to this story such as a time lapse at the beginning of the animation, camera angle shots from underneath the ice, a fish jumping out of the ice finally after all is done and i'm sure as we progress too we will think of even more parts to add.

After working hard all week we brought all our ideas together and discussed which two we should pick. We showed each others everything we'd done and described the stories behind the characters, they were all really good :)
Here's all the finished idea's we picked from and underneath i've written below what we discussed and why we picked and did not pick the ideas -

this is concept art jess drew but was wizzy's idea. the robot-

at first both jess and wiz liked mammoo the best but i suggested why not have both of them in and the robot could come out of the ice :)

this is jess's mammoo idea we all liked and i knew from the beginning i wanted to do environments so i was fine with this as i'd like a challenge with the environment which from the look of him he looked like he liked in the cold mountains of the north pole or something along those lines.

These are my two idea's that we didn't choose, i'm definitely gonna work on these two characters and develop a story for them, maybe even make them so i can work on all my general skills as a whole.

I really liked the idea of the baguette as the sidekick :)
