LIGHT NIGHT

I attended LIGHT NIGHT last friday and to be honest i didn't really like it. I wasn't given a map till later on so i didn't know where anything was so i missed out on viewing the exhibitions in the buildings and other events going on around town. The main one that i viewed was at millennium square, it was very difficult to understand what was going on, there was a lot of disabled people with lanterns getting involved which was nice to see, but i just didn't understand what they were trying to represent. They were banging chimes and chanting we need more time holding latterns. I'm sure that some people would have got more out of it then me so i'm sure it was the fact that before i attended i'd been at the pub with friends, so i was probably more focused on getting another beer :)

my b enjoying light night :)

this orb was really cool! there were many faces upon faces and flashing over and over it was an efective illusion and it made you think that you could see yourself in it until you got close and realised it was someone else.

A great thing to see was the big screen up in millennium square, it played peoples films that had made so i enjoyed viewing the silent 'fright night' films they seemed to be playing. At one point the film went off and everyone in millennium square could see themselves, so people arranged themselves into a love heart shape randomly which was great to see but i missed taking a picture before they moved :/

Overall i'd give it another chance next year as i'm sure i missed quite a bit.
