Another place i visited for primary research was York as they have a lot of medieval buildings and castles, this trip was defiantly worth it and i got some great source images from it. I learned a lot about medieval culture visiting the museums and took a lot in about the fashion and textures of their furniture as this is what i was going to be making. I will definitely from this be focusing more on the sense of grandness in the buildings such as a towering feeling of the height of the tower and the over grandness of the main hall.
I will be using stone textures as well as thats all there was in york even the streets were made of stone in places, however i will be combining wood textures of different kinds too because i don't want it to become too repetitive, if it is it will loose the feel of the game.
